The Meaning of the Japanese Flag

The red disk in this flag represents a sun without ray and the white represents peace and honesty.  What I found out about Japan is that Japans unemployment rate is less than 4%.

    So did you find out what the significance of the Sun is to the Japanese? I'm sure you could add more detail to this explanation Tuipulotu.
